The Tempered Truth is a Christian podcast, ministry, and multimedia initiative established under Warnick Media, dedicated to exploring the power of God, pursuing truth, and challenging the beliefs and assumptions that shape our understanding of the world.

Founded on the unlikely brotherhood between Michael Warnick and Eddy Linares-Rivera. The podcast works off of the juxtaposition between the two. One, a conservative Christian from the mountains of Appalachia with family in the hills dating back to the 18th century; The other a first generation American and a city boy from two liberal immigrants. Although the duo came from completely different backgrounds, cultures, and walks of life; they found the most unlikely friendship through the pursuit of knowledge and Christ. The Tempered Truth brings together contrasting experiences and perspectives through a shared commitment to faith, knowledge, and Jesus Christ.

Through thoughtful discussions spanning history, philosophy, theology, science, and other scholarly disciplines, we seek to explore life’s deepest questions while examining the relationship between faith, reason, and the human experience.

At the heart of our mission is the belief that truth should never fear examination. We encourage intellectual curiosity, honest questioning, and the courage to confront popular misconceptions, cultural narratives, and uncomfortable realities—even when doing so challenges our own understanding.

Like iron strengthened through fire, we believe faith is refined through adversity, wisdom is gained through examination, and character is shaped through God. Our goal is NOT simply to defend what we believe, but to understand WHY we believe it and continually grow closer to God through that understanding.

Beyond the conversations, The Tempered Truth is committed to sharing the stories of the overlooked, the unheard, and the forgotten. Through interviews, documentary filmmaking, and original media productions, we seek to reveal God’s presence in unexpected places and demonstrate how His grace can transform lives regardless of background, circumstance, or past mistakes.

We believe that Christianity is not a rejection of knowledge, but an invitation to find the way, the truth, and the light- that being Jesus Christ.

In a world increasingly shaped by misinformation, manipulation, division, and uncertainty, we believe the pursuit of truth is more important than ever. We seek not to glorify ourselves, but to glorify God, inspire meaningful conversations, strengthen believers, and reach those still searching for answers.

The Tempered Truth welcomes the believer, the skeptic, the scholar, and the seeker alike. We don’t believe every difficult question has an easy answer, but we believe every honest question deserves thoughtful consideration.
